The Danish photographer Lisbet Nielsen has been creating abstract photographic art since the mid-1980s and has developed a poetic visual language that has not only left its mark on the Danish photography scene but also in China, where she has contributed with exhibitions and developed several of her works. “A Golden Orange is a Sun of Juice” is a cross-artistic collaboration between Lisbet Nielsen and the Chinese poet Li Liuyang, consisting of a carefully selected array of works from the two artists’ respective practices to date. In a poetic symphony of words and images, they have together created an abstract and immersive space for transcontinental dialogue between Denmark and China, where the sensory experience of nature is placed at the forefront of human connectivity across near and far.
